These photos are taken by E Springer, nearly all at the Starr Mill pond in Middletown, Connecticut, using my Canon SX50 camera, which is a relatively affordable digital camera with a very strong built-in zoom lens.

Although I no longer live at the mill where these photos were taken, I hope the collection can still be useful to those wanting to learn about the variety of life, especially birds, that come through this part of Connecticut.
